Hi, I'm Jaclyn
My work is grounded in the belief that people experience and make sense of their lives in context - through relationships, culture, family, history, and lived experience. I offer counselling that is thoughtful, collaborative, and paced, with space that honours the complexity of the human experience. I work with young people (13+) and adults navigating the impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, eating concerns, identity questions, emotional overwhelm, and periods of transition or uncertainty. I also support families seeking deeper understanding, communication, and connection. I have worked with young people and families for over 15 years. My background includes work with youth mental health and family services, schools, homelessness services, rites of passage and adventure therapy programs. I have particular interest and expertise in working with eating disorders and am a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with ANZAED. I am also an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with AASW, which means I practice in line with national professional and ethical standards and am committed to ongoing professional development. |
