PSYCHOTHERAPY & COUNSELLING - BYRON BAY

I offer psychotherapy and counselling for young people, adults, and families, both in person in Byron Bay and online.

My work is relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, with a focus on emotional safety, collaboration, and sustainable change. I am trained in a diverse range of modalities and draw primarily on Narrative Therapy principles.

Individual Counselling

Individual counselling offers space to explore the stories and experiences that shape your life, and supports you to move towards preferred ways of being.

I support people experiencing the impact of:
  • anxiety and depression
  • emotional overwhelm or stress
  • identity questions and life transitions
  • domestic violence, sexual assault, or other traumas
  • disconnection or low self-worth

Sessions are paced and respectful, guided by curiosity rather than judgement, with a focus on clarity, agency, and meaningful change over time.
Support for Young People 13yo+

I work with adolescents and young adults navigating mental health challenges, identity development, relationships, and change.

My approach prioritises:
  • emotional safety and trust
  • developmentally appropriate support
  • collaboration with families and schools where helpful
  • coordination with other health professionals when needed

  • supporting a young person’s mental health

The focus is on shared understanding, connection, and practical ways forward.

This includes support with:
  • anorexia nervosa
  • bulimia nervosa
  • binge eating disorder
  • disordered eating and body image distress
  • food- and weight-related anxiety or control concerns

Where relevant, I can work alongside GPs, dietitians, or other professionals involved in your care to support safe and coordinated treatment.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands where I live and work - the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung nation - and the elders, ancestors, creator spirits, and living custodians of this oldest continuous culture on Earth. I honour their ongoing connection to the Land and Waters that has been cultivated over thousands of generations.
